MoMs: Highlighting our Parent Led Groups

If you haven't been to a MoMs night out, you are missing out! MoMs, the acronym for Moms on Merlot, led by Zakiya Smart, meets monthly over wine to socialize. The group includes many working moms who are only available to be involved in evening school events. For those that don't drink or prefer something else, they are also welcome to come out and socialize. The first MoMs meetup of the school was held on Thursday, August 22 at Cafe Benedicte. There was live piano music, lots of conversations and of course, delicious food and drinks. It was fabulous to see so many new moms come out as well as those returning moms and even a couple alumni moms!
