Welcome New & Returning Viking Families

We are so excited to begin another year at The Village School. If this is your first year with us, the VSPA Board extends a very warm welcome, close to 100 degrees Fahrenheit, to be precise.

For all of our families, we hope you had a fantastic summer, and you are ready to take part in our events, help our with our committees and be a part of our school community! We look forward to see you on Friday, August 16, 2024 at our VSPA Parent Welcome Back Parent Breakfast & Community Market .

Please visit our calendar (you can even download it) for all of our events! August is going to busy as we get settled into school. You will learn all about your division/grade level with the parent coffees we have planned!

We have done some rebranding and updated our website! Now you can easily find us at www.myvspa.org. We hope you will visit the website to:

  • find a volunteer opportunities that fits your schedule and interest

  • download our calendar so all the VSPA events are easy to see over the coming year

  • support our non-profit 501(c)(3) fundraising efforts to fulfill our mission

We want every family to feel that they are part of our community. We cannot do this unless we all participate in our own way. Your voice and opinion are important, so whether you come to the General Meetings or prefer to contact VSPA Board members individually, we want to hear from you.

This Board is committed to transparency and communicating with the entire community. We believe this is the only way for us to make decisions that reflect our mission to facilitate and coordinate parental involvement at The Village School, support the educational and social objectives of our school, and provide an organized forum for fundraising projects.

My name is Lori Meyer and I am honored to be the VSPA President for the 2024-2025 school year. I am excited to lead this year’s Board:
